Let yourself be tempted by an oenological getaway along the Var coast in the heart of the Gulf of Saint Tropez.
Escape to Résidence du Bailli, for a short stay in one of our fully-equipped, renovated and air-conditioned apartments, and follow the Saint Tropez Wine Route!
Rosé is a wine whose qualities no one can now deny. It’s appreciated for its freshness, delicacy, elegance and aromas, and it can be tasted all over the world. But it is in the Var that it draws all its strength, in these pioneering departments where, as early as the 1970s, winegrowers took the gamble of growing it.
The Saint Tropez Wine Route crosses the Côtes de Provence appellation. It is subject to the Mediterranean climate, where rain is rare and the sunshine is ideal for growing the vines.
Start off by stopping at the famous Domaine Minuty, a renowned family estate in the town of Gassin. Continue towards the village of Croix-Valmer and discover le Domaine de la Croix, on the Saint Tropez peninsula with panoramic views over the Mediterranean. These two vineyards are listed as Cru Classé des Côtes de Provence.
Carry on with your explorations with a visit to Château Saint Maur in the village of Cogolin, a Provençal gem boasting the latest-generation cellar equipped with the most recent winemaking technology.
Afterwards, a little further west, head for Domaine Sainte Marie, which has been open since 2007. Located between Bormes-Les-Mimosas and the Gulf of Saint Tropez, the estate grows organic vines.
On the same side of the coast, you can also stop off at Domaine de la Sanglière, Domaine des Campaux, Château Léoube and Château de Brégançon.
Book your apartments at the Résidence du Bailli and get away from it all without delay.
The team at reception will be happy to provide you with information and prepare your tailor-made itinerary.
